Seemi Awan is a philanthropist and newly elected Chairwoman of APWA UK.

Before devoting her time to APWA UK​, Seemi obtained a masters in economics and has a unique background as a lecturer and worked with her local council for social services. She later ventured into the property sector as a successful businesswoman.

From hosting charity galas and attending sessions at the United Nations, Seemi splits her time between various international charities as board member, fighting for causes such as human trafficking, women’s rights and mental health issues on a local and global level.

As a long-standing member, Seemi strives to serve as Chairwoman to aid APWA UK in achieving its goals of preserving the social welfare of Pakistani women within the United Kingdom. She has generously provided APWA UK with a London office for two years and pledges to continue her financial contributions.

Nausheen Syed has been in Fashion, Events and Film industry more than 10 years now. She holds a Post graduate degree in Business & Advertising, Further studies in Film production, Art Direction,Events.

This multi-faceted entrepreneur is a women of many talents and has made quite a mark in respective field,She has worked in Bollywood films and Star Plus drama and theatre.

Her Professional work experience includes organising and managing fashion shows and corporate events. Beside all that artistic flair Nausheen has run a food franchise business for few years as well.

Nausheen Syed has great interest in charity work and wants to bring about a moral change with her work and planning to empower women all over the world,Currently appointed as a trustee in Apwa.
