The UK APWA aims to raise the status of British Pakistani women through knowledge and support. Our Trustees contribute greatly to this endeavour.

Seemi Awan

Seemi Awan

Chairperson, APWA UK

Seemi Awan is a philanthropist and newly elected Chairwoman of APWA UK.

Before devoting her time to APWA UK, Seemi obtained a masters in economics and has a unique background as a lecturer and worked with her local council for social services. She later ventured into the property sector as a successful businesswoman.

From hosting charity galas and attending sessions at the United Nations, Seemi splits her time between various international charities as board member, fighting for causes such as human trafficking, women’s rights and mental health issues on a local and global level.

As a long-standing member, Seemi strives to serve as Chairwoman to aid APWA UK in achieving its goals of preserving the social welfare of Pakistani women within the United Kingdom. She has generously provided APWA UK with a London office for two years and pledges to continue her financial contributions.
